Join us on Thursday, December 5th from 6 to 8 pm at Rebel Rebel in Berea for a vigil honoring the martyrs in Palestine, Lebanon & beyond in the fight against Zionism & US imperialism.

Do you have poetry or music or prayer or a written piece you want to share related to the struggle for Palestinian liberation? You are invited to join us! This vigil will be a space for mourning, re-focusing our organizing efforts, and learning from each other. We will also be co-creating a quilt centering the theme of either “Arms Embargo Now” or “Stop Arming Israel.” We are accepting design submissions from local artists featuring one of these phrases while incorporating Palestinian embroidery or Appalachian quilt motifs. We will then translate this design into a quilt that can be used at actions across the state. Please send your design submissions to bereaforpalestine@gmail.com.

There will be a potluck for dinner, so feel free to bring a dish to share. Just be sure to bring an ingredient list!
